Teaching Resume'
Mr. John Beck has been a teacher for 28 years. He first started out teaching Physical Education and later in his career was asked to teach History at West Valley Junior High. After teaching for 10 years at the Junior High, Beck decided to teach at West Valley High School. He has been at the High School for 4 years and has been teaching a Weight Lifting class. He has also been one of the offensive coordinators for football in his career at the High School.
Leisure Time
In his spare time, Mr. Beck is an avid skier and mountain biker. He has participated in the Gap-2-Gap competition with fellow teachers for the past 4 years, his leg being the mountain biking stage. Beck has also climbed Mt. Rainier numerous times and also likes to travel to Europe for top-of-the-line skiing. Aside from teaching weights, John Beck is also very focused on his own lifting. He works out daily at West Valley Fitness after school and eats healthy to stay in shape. Beck also writes in his spare time and has even written a book. The title is Yakima Ctiy: the Original Settlement and can be bought at any local bookstore.
Schooling
During his younger days, Mr. Beck attended Naches High School. While there, Beck played varsity football and track. He then went to Central University for 4 years and after college, decided to start his teaching career.

Mr. John Beck is 51 years old and is around 5'11". He is happily married and has 3 kids. They are all boys and 1 currently attends Washington State University, 1 at West Valley High School, and 1 at West Valley Junior High.
