WAYS OF GIVING

General Donation: General donations can be designated directly for the scholarship fund or to help pay for events.

Named Annual Scholarship: Donors can contribute yearly to a scholarship named by the donor.

Business Donation: A business can donate a scholarship in their business’ name, contribute to the general scholarship fund or help with events.

Personal gift: Donor may choose to make a contribution in their name or anonymously.

Endowments: Donations to the endowment fund are reserved and used to build a financial base.

Memorials: These scholarships are dedicated to the memory of a loved one and can be given annually or one time

West Valley Dollars for Scholarship Foundation presented their first scholarships in 1995. $13,000 total was distributed to 26 students.

In 2010 WVDFS awarded $39,700 in scholarships to 52 recipients.
