Article I - Name

 

Section 1 -The name of this organization will be the Computer Gaming Club.

 

Section 2 -This name was chosen because it best represents the overall purpose and function of the

organization.

 

Article II - Purpose

Section 1 -The members of this club will partake in beneficial and educational discussion, activities, and encounters with those who share the common interest computer based gaming.

 

Section 2 -This includes topics ranging from (but not limited to) creating games, troubleshooting/problem solving, discussing experience with different types of game play.

 

Article III - Membership

*There are two requirements to be a member of this organization.

Section 1 -First, you must be interested in gaming, creating games, or anything related to computer based gaming. You should expect to be able to benefit the club with your presence.

 

Section 2 - There is also a club fee of $10, which is expected to be received before partaking in any club activities.

 

Article IV - Officers

Section 1 - This organization's officers will include those who fulfill the roles of president, vice-president, and treasurer (who also has duties of a secretary).

 

Section 2 -The exact titles and duty descriptions will be officially determined upon the first meeting.

 

 

Article V - Meetings

Section 1 -The only mandatory meetings shall be during the school's club period every other Wednesday.

 

Section 2 -There will also be officer only meetings on the Wednesdays that the club does not meet.

 

Section 3 -Depending on the wishes of the club members, we may have a meeting outside of school.

 


Article VI - Golden Rule

Section 1 -Every member of the club will be treated as equals. Every member will treat and be treated with absolute respect, and will not submit or be submitted to ridicule in any form.

 

Section 2 -It is the President and Vice-president’s responsibility to ensure that there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, color, origin, gender, or intelligence level.

 

Article VII - Conduct Code

Section 1 -The Computer Gaming Club will abide by the student conduct code, and all other rules enforced by the West Valley School District .

 

Section 2 -It is the President and Vice presidents responsibility to eliminate discrimination of any means.

 

Article VIII – Treasury and Funds

Section 1 -Exact purposes and means for any money in the Computer Gaming Club's treasury will be discussed and determined when the club President or Vice-president brings it up for discussion when she/he sees fit.

 

Section 2 -At this point in time, the club has decided on only one purpose for raising funds, which is the biannual trip to Game Works in Seattle .

 

Article IX – Amending the Constitution

Section 1 -This constitution may be amended as the current club officers wish as long as any new amendments have been approved by the club members and student senate.
