RAM HEADLINE NEWS & INFORMATION

The New WASL -- The “HSPE” (High School Proficiency Exam)
On these dates the HSPE will be from 7:50 am to 10:20 am. School will start at 10:30 am.
March 16 - Reading -- No Tools Allowed
March 17 - Writing Day 1 -- Bring print dictionary/thesaurus, we provide scratch paper
March 18 - Writing Day 2 -- Bring print dictionary/thesaurus, we provide scratch paper
April 13 - Math -- Bring calculator
April 15 - Science -- Bring calculator

You Are Invited To Senior Presentations 2010
The West Valley School District would like to invite you as a community leader to listen to 10-15 minute Senior Presentations from the class of 2010.
The Senior Presentations will be March 16,17, & 18 and April 13 & 15, 2010.
Community members observing Senior Presentations need to be at the new WVHS, 9800 Zier Road, by 7:45 am. Senior Presentations are from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

FREE Math Tutoring
WHO: Any WVHS student wanting free peer-tutoring on Math through Algebra 2
WHEN: Tuesday through Friday, 3 pm to 4 pm
WHERE: Counseling Office Conference Room

WVHS students understand that cell phones, iPods, and other electronic devices are not allowed between 7:45 am and 2:25 pm anywhere on the WVHS campus.
If the electronic device is seen or heard by a staff member that staff member will take the electronic device to the main office.
First offense: Parent/Guardian Contact -- Parent/Guardian retrieval of electronic device.
Second offense: Parent/Guardian Contact -- Parent/Guardian retrieval of electronic device and student suspended from WVHS for one day.
Subsequent offenses will result in increased suspensions up to Long Term Suspension.
