Care & Instruction Booklet
Final Project

REMEMBER, you can do this OR the Personalized Health Goals Project as your final.

The final format of this project can be either a PowerPoint or a booklet. Essentially, you are to compile all of the "best advice" from this Health class, the readings and additional outside sources. Instead of typing a big paper about "taking care of your body" you are going to make a set of instructions for anyone who owns a human body. (Think of the instruction booklet that comes with a new car or a new electronic gadget.)

At the very minimum, this booklet should include the following information/sections:

The booklet should have lots of pictures, diagrams and other visuals. Remember, it is an "instruction" book for how to take good care of your body - you only get one! Be creative in how you put the info together.

Don't be creative when getting the info - only use RELIABLE sources. Create a Works Cited as you do the research for this project. You must turn in a complete Works Cited (for info and for pictures) to earn credit.

Grading

A
This project has a professional feel to it. There are 6 sections or more - each with the basic, expected info AND some extras. The info is accurate, thorough and well presented. The work was obviously proofread and edited. The owner of a human body would be able to take care of themselves and handle some more advanced tasks as well if they used this project. The Works Cited page has no errors and shows careful research.
B
This project has 6 sections with accurate info, a properly formatted Works Cited and good supporting visuals. While there are no glaring typos, it might not be as neat or creative as the "A" project. When reading this project all of the basic info you would expect to find is included - the reader could take good care of their body if they followed this advice.
