For this A+ section you need to click on the "Essay" button and carefully read through their instructions. You will be doing the project as they explain it. A few additional tips are included here.
~ Don't type your family health history into the forms in A+. Look at their samples to decide how you want to organize your data. You will use PUBLISHER to create your chart. Please ask for help if you haven't used this program before.
~ You are going to have to talk to your relatives. Get your questions ready and be prepared to take some notes. This is an important assignment and you need help to get it done. Don't forget to ask about more than just illnesses and diseases - get cause of death, lifestyle choices (like smoking), etc. Please keep a list of the people you talked to or emailed to complete this assignment. They will be your Works Cited.
~ Write a summary of your findings, along with recommendations as it is explained in A+ (first slide of Essay). Do NOT type your summary in the A+ program. Ignore that screen. Double-space the summary as you type it in WORD. Proofread it to be sure it is your best writing. Print it.
~ Click through the Essay slides until you come to the evaluation page. Click on the self-evaluation form and print it. You need to circle the score you would give yourself in each grading category.
