Science Fundamentals Course Syllabus

Name _____________________________

This class is designed by aligning the 9th and 10th grade science GLE's with the A+ Lessons used in the West Valley Night School Program. The A+ lessons were then aligned with the Science WASL problems published by OSPI. The result is a class that focuses on the specific science content that the state has identified as important for graduation from high school in the State of Washington.

To earn credit for this class and to prepare yourself for the WASL you need to successfully complete TWO things:

  1. Pass the A+ lessons, LEARNING the concepts presented. (80% or better on tests)
  2. Complete the corresponding problems in the Worksheet Packets (get from your teacher) from earlier WASL tests. (70% or better)
