Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT), or Pandemic EBT, is a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) program that provides eligible families with money to buy food - in order to replace meals that students would have received, if not for disruptions to in-person instruction or school facility closure.
Eligible families will receive a benefits card in the mail this March. Please make sure that your mailing address is up to date with us. You can do this by providing proof of address to your student’s school or to the District’s Student Records Office.
Your family is eligible if your student would have received free or reduced-price school meals during normal operations of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) if not for the COVID-19 health emergency. If you have not applied for free or reduced-price meals for this school year, you can apply until the end of the year at www.myschoolapps.com or by picking up a paper application at the Child Nutrition office.
