At West Valley High School our goal is to help students find success and support to guide them through their high school career. We offer many tools to aid students in making the best decisions for their learning, while supporting their individuality and offering opportunities for engagement and activity.

About WVHS
Below are some guidelines to help students achieve success at West Valley High School. For more information be sure to review the WVHS Student Handbook. (Link to Spanish version: Click here)

  • After 15 missed days in any one class period, we no longer excuse absences without a doctor’s note or clearance from Mr. McMurry (Principal). Nine days out of class in a semester is considered “Chronically Absent” by the state of Washington. Find our full attendance policy in the student handbook and in the resource library.
