New scholarship available for all students

Early Scholar’s Scholarship

Central Washington University will provide an Early Scholar's Scholarship for $500 for West Valley students who successfully complete a CWU College-in-the-High-School class or classes with a 3.0 GPA.

The CWU Early Scholar’s Scholarship is a scholarship that students don’t apply for. If a student applies to attend CWU after high school and is accepted and does attend CWU, if the student has a CWU GPA from their College-in-the-High-School classes of a 3.0 or higher, that student will automatically receive the Early Scholar's Scholarship during their first term at Central Washington University. This scholarship is determined looking only at the student’s CWU GPA so even if the student took only one CWU College-in-the-High-School class, if they have a B average they will receive the Early Scholar's Scholarship for $500.
