West Valley High School Choral and Instrumental Music receive high ratings at the Large Group Contest Music Festival

On March 7th and 9th, the West Valley High School Choral and Instrumental Music Departments participated in their respective Large Group Contest Music Festival. Each ensemble performance was adjudicated by a panel of clinicians, which consisted of fellow music teachers and professors, and awarded a Division Rating based on their performances.
Concert and Symphonic Bands, in their first appearance at Large Group Contest since the pandemic, received Division II ratings. Wind Ensemble, Chamber Choir, Treble Choir, and Bass Choir received Division I ratings.
Music Instructor Peter Krum says, "All groups received very high praise from the clinicians and exemplified the integrity of the West Valley School District Music Program."
